Vacancy for a Voluntary Secretary The Colchester & East Essex Voluntary Group, Diabetes UK seeks applications for the role of Voluntary Secretary within the group. This is a key role in our organization and we would prefer someone with previous experience in a similar role professionally or in a voluntary role, but this is not essential as advice and guidance will be available. Diabetes UK is an equal opportunities organization and therefore it is not essential to have Diabetes but the willingness to help is. The main duties are to provide Secretarial support to the Chair and Officers of the Committee. To take notes at committee meeting and the Annual General Meeting, producing minute/notes and agenda for future meetings. Deal with all incoming correspondence to the group, bringing all relevant information to the relevant committee member and the committee in general. Compiling, processing and distributing the group's twice yearly newsletter. We would also hope that the successful applicant would help out in our regular meetings and at fundraising events. This
role is Voluntary but out of pocket expenses are reimbursed and would
suit someone with time on their hands. If you would like to apply please
